The National Pit Bull Awareness campaign is a nationwide effort to bring positive awareness and attention to the American Pit Bull Terrier and their responsible owners. National Pit Bull Awareness Day was established four years ago as a day to educate and foster positive communications and experiences in the communities in which we and our dogs live. It's a day - and an event - to change perceptions and stereotypes,

The Brew City Bully Club (BCBC) was founded in 2008 to rehabilitate the reputation of the Pit Bull while reducing fear in the community. BCBC has 5 objectives:

  1. Education/awareness
  2. Owner Support
  3. Backyard Breeder Battle
  4. End Dogfighting in Milwaukee
  5. Rescue
